The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has published its latest report on the 1:1 Face Recognition Vendor Test Evaluation (FRVT)<\/a> on October 28. Veridas has strengthened its position once again as a top performer in every category, establishing itself as one of the most trusted providers in the industry.<\/p>

The das-face biometric engine has outperformed previous evaluations reducing the error rate by half, with a False Positive Rate below 1%, meaning only 1 out of 100,000 were mistakenly identified as the targeted person. These results were obtained for the VISABORDER category, a very close scenario to real-life use cases. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
