The largest bank in Mexico, BBVA, found a technological solution to the problem faced by Mexican pensioners who were forced to visit bank branches during the pandemic to provide proof of life to collect their pensions. This involved adapting to the needs of older generations and those with limited access to technology. Now, since June 2021, pensioners can provide proof of life from their homes through a simple phone call, with only 3 seconds of voice, in any language, and with any text.
During this session Eduardo Azanza and Miguel Villaumbrales will discuss how biometrics ensures security in both the digital and physical world while improving user experience and conversion rates, exposing the more than 40 Veridas use cases together with BBVA around the world.
