Real-life phygital examples
The phygital experience is already a reality. Last May, more than half a thousand Osasuna members gained facial recognition access to the league match against Real Madrid at El Sadar Stadium. This makes dasGate’s biometric facial access the first to be used in the highest category of Spanish soccer.
It will be in this same stadium where the 22-23 season will kick off on Friday, August 12 and where, once again, all fans who wish to do so will be able to go to the stadium without ID cards, simply with their face, thanks to biometrics.
