Veridas continues its international expansion, crossing the Mediterranean and reaching Italy. As of last month, we are part of the ItaliaFintech community, the independent Italian association that, since 2018, represents all the leading Fintech operators in Italy.

ItaliaFintech fosters innovation in the financial sector
By joining ItaliaFintech, Veridas becomes one of the more than 40 members, buds, and corporate partners of the association. An institution where dialogue and networking are promoted through the organization of thematic working groups or public events.
The organization’s ultimate goal is to accelerate the growth of Fintechs in Italy by supporting the development of the entire Fintech ecosystem. The Italian association plays a role of advocacy and dialogue with institutions and regulators to propose solutions and contribute to the sector’s development inclusively and sustainably.
BBVA Italia, the first 100% digital bank thanks to Veridas
In addition to its long term experience with financial institutions in Spain and Mexico, Veridas also knows the Italian territory well. Thanks to our digital onboarding, a few months ago, BBVA Italia became Italy’s first 100% digital bank.
This project is another milestone in the long and extensive collaboration between Veridas and the BBVA group; since we launched the first digital customer onboarding in Spain in 2017, we have already developed more than 30 use cases in over 9 countries.
