Last Friday, March 31, one of the most important events of the year for the Spanish Civil Guard took place at the Baeza Academy: the swearing-in of the flag by the students of the 128th Access Promotion to the Corporals and Guards Scale of the Civil Guard. In an event of such magnitude, the security and efficiency of access is crucial. On this occasion, and for the first time in an event of these characteristics, the entrance to the venue had the facial biometric access system developed by Veridas, which allowed for a speedy and secure identification process of attendees while ensuring privacy.

The more than 8,000 attendees accessed the venue quickly and efficiently through facial readers located at the entrance of the center that recognized each person’s identity by instantly displaying their face.

This innovative method aimed at effectively and securely expediting the identification process through facial recognition was highly appreciated by all attendees for its ease of use and speed of access.

The use of facial biometrics in events of this nature not only allows for greater efficiency and security in access control but also facilitates better registration and tracking of attendees, which is extremely useful in case of emergencies or unexpected situations.

A quick and autonomous registration from your mobile device

In order to use the system, attendees only had to access a web link and take a selfie, which later served to be recognized at the time of access.
